Are you ready for myGovID and RAM

AUSkey will be retired at the end of March 2020 and will be replaced by myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM). Together these services will provide you with a secure, simple and flexible access to government online services including the ATO Business Portal.

To make the move to myGovID faster and easier, you should check that all your Australian business number (ABN) details are up-to-date in the Australian Business RegisterExternal Link (ABR) and all nominated AUSkey users are still correct.

To link your ABN to your myGovID using RAM, you need to be the principal authorityExternal Link, eg director of a company or a trustee of a trust listed on the ABN as an eligible associate in the ABR.

Once all of your details are up-to-date, you can download the myGovID app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow the instructions. Every person who acts on behalf of your business online must have their own myGovID.

Entities with non-individual associatesExternal Link, (such as corporate trustees, incorporated and unincorporated companies, government employees and not for profit) will be able to commence linking their business in RAM from early December. Information for these entities will be available on the RAM website in the coming weeksExternal Link.

AUSkey will continue to be supported until late March 2020, while you make the move to myGovID and RAM.
